Enquare has taken out the Vo Rogue Plate at Doomben on Saturday December 28, 2013.
The three-year-old was too good in the 2013 Vo Rogue Plate, winning the race by three quarters of a length ahead of Gundy Spirit, who ran home for second, and favourite Missy Longstocking, who placed in third position.
The filly has now won five of her nine race starts and has earned more than $300,000 in prize money during her horse racing career.
Enquare is now on her way to the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas on January 11, 2014, where she will race for a share in the $1 million prize money on offer.
Trainer Jason McLachlan is looking to post back-to-back Magic Millions Guineas wins, after winning last year’s race with Saluter.
He is confident too, believing that Saluter would be no match for Enquare despite his credentials.
“Enquare would eat Saluter,” he said.
“I can hardly wait for the Magic Millions where we can ride Enquare off the pace.
“She is the most underrated horse in Australia.
“They keep talking up the others but she beats them all the time.”
Jockey Jim Byre rode Enquare in the 2013 Vo Rogue Plate and will do again in the 2014 Magic Millions Guineas.
“Jason has always said Enquare would be at her top on Millions day and that makes her very hard to beat in the Guineas,” Byrne said.
